Employee of the Year
Each year, the Christina School District honors outstanding educators and employees through the Teachers and Employee Champions of the Year awards. After a rigorous selection process, each school building selects a Teacher of the Year, who then competes for the prestigious title of District Teacher of the Year. Additionally, the district recognizes Employee Champions of the Year from each classified employee group, with the winner going on to compete for the District Educational Support Professional of the Year. Inspired by guiding her younger siblings, she discovered her calling to nurture curiosity and a love of learning in young minds. Octavia is committed to continuous growth. She believes early childhood education lays the foundation for lifelong learning and takes pride in helping students build the confidence, curiosity, and skills they need to succeed.
